Realy want a 3.2, already got a 2.4 and its only just getting maxed out doing certain things in my media centre, need as much grunt as possible.

I have a stack of 3GHZ and possibly a 3.2 in my MCE but I don't really wanna let it go.

I think I have a 3.2ghz i've got a few different cpus.

Im pretty sure ive got a 3.2 sitting in an Intel 865PERL board. Though I will confrim when I get home.

I had an S775 P4 3.2Ghz in my MCE and it was really struggling with 1080p h264 content, I ended up swapping it out for a dual core E6300 (had one lying around, just needed a mobo).

Might be worth saving up some ponies and upgrading if you can - for the long run.

yep. got a cpu and mobo. couldnt update the ram, so got a 775

my 3.0 ran wmce fine, never skipped a beat. i just upgraded cause i wanted that board / cpu for a side project.

Yeah I think a 3.0 might just cut it.

the cpu was about 10-20% watching tv. your more than welcome to have a try of it.
