At QuakeCon last week, Bethesda's Todd Howard wouldn't give up any details on whether or not the publisher/developer is working on the next Elder Scrolls, leaving some to believe Bethesda weren't in fact planning on releasing another entrant in the series.

In rebuttal, however, Bethesda's Pete Hines has broached the topic on the site's official blog, proclaiming "of course we're going to another Elder Scrolls game. The last one was enormously popular". What's interesting though, is the fact he mentions the team are hard at work on their "next big game" which they're just not ready to reveal yet. So no Fallout or Elder Scrolls for the time being? I wonder what it is they're working on...
