Inglourious Basterds (20-Aug)
In the first year of the German occupation of France, Shosanna Dreyfus (Mélanie Laurent) witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz). Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris, where she forges a new identity as the owner and operator of a cinema.
Elsewhere in Europe, Lieutenant Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) organizes a group of Jewish soldiers to engage in targeted acts of retribution. Known to their enemy as "The Basterds," Raine's squad joins German actress and undercover agent Bridget Von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) on a mission to take down the leaders of The Third Reich. Fates converge under a cinema marquee, where Shosanna is poised to carry out a revenge plan of her own...
Employing pulp and propaganda in equal measure, Quentin Tarantino's INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS weaves together the infamous, oppressed, real and larger-than-life stories of WWII.

Public Enemies (30-Jul)
In the action-thriller Public Enemies, acclaimed filmmaker Michael Mann directs Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Academy Award® winner Marion Cotillard in the story of legendary Depression-era outlaw John Dillinger (Depp)—the charismatic bank robber whose lightning raids made him the number one target of J. Edgar Hoover’s fledgling FBI and its top agent, Melvin Purvis (Bale), and a folk hero to much of the downtrodden public. No one could stop Dillinger and his gang. No jail could hold him. His charm and audacious jailbreaks endeared him to almost everyone—from his girlfriend Billie Frechette to an American public who had no sympathy for the banks that had plunged the country into the Depression. But while the adventures of Dillinger’s gang—later including the sociopathic Baby Face Nelson (Stephen Graham) and Alvin Karpis (Giovanni Ribisi)—thrilled many, Hoover (Billy Crudup) hit on the idea of exploiting the outlaw’s capture as a way to elevate his Bureau of Investigation into the national police force that became the FBI. He made Dillinger America’s first Public Enemy Number One and sent in Purvis, the dashing “Clark Gable of the FBI.” However, Dillinger and his gang outwitted and outgunned Purvis’ men in wild chases and shootouts. Only after importing a crew of Western ex-lawmen (newly baptized as agents) and orchestrating epic betrayals—from the infamous “Lady in Red” to the Chicago crime boss Frank Nitti—were Purvis, the FBI and their new crew of gunfighters able to close in on Dillinger.

the only movie i am looking forward to atm is sin city 2 ... not due till 2011 though :(

inglorious basterds could be good, haven't heard or seen much about it. public enemies looks like an atypical hollywood remake of a 70s classic (dillinger) with the latest big names :P sherlock holmes looks corny & stupid... but so was iron man & i didn't mind that... bit of a larf.

Are you sure you watched the actual trailer and not just the clip Superform? I found that when I went there it defaulted to just showing me a clip from the movie, but on the right hand side there was a tab to click to go to the trailer instead.

AntiChrist - The Movie is coming and it will be banned in Australia.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antichrist_(film) Starring: Willem Dafoe

The film has come under attack for its explicit sexuality, including the opening scene showing a toddler falling to its death while He and She have sex on the bed nearby. Included is a graphic close-up shot of a penis entering a vagina. The film has also invited controversy for its graphic sexual violence. In one controversial scene, She hits His testicles with a wooden plank so hard that it is implied they are crushed. While He is unconscious, she masturbates him until he ejaculates blood. She then drills a hole through his shin to bolt him onto a grindstone. In a later scene, She cuts off her own clitoris with a pair of rusty scissors.

lol what.

Saw a trailer for 'Surrogates' last night which looks pretty cool.

I thought 'Fighting' was going to be another StreetFighter movie. The 2012 trailer was seriously disappointing on the big screen, in fact I thought I was more impressed when I watched it here at home.

I'm still hanging out for Alice in Wonderland :P
