Financial agreement avoids lawsuit
Some quotes MIAMI -- Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte' Stallworth took full responsibility for killing a pedestrian while driving drunk in Florida and began serving a 30-day jail sentence Tuesday after he pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter. After his release from jail, Stallworth must serve two years of house arrest and spend eight years on probation. ...Stallworth must also undergo drug and alcohol testing, will have a lifetime driver's license suspension and must perform 1,000 hours of community service Lyons said the plea agreement will allow Stallworth to resume his football career. |

A source told ESPN's Kelly Naqi that while the financial terms of the settlement with the family have not been disclosed, Stallworth was covered by two insurance policies: a car insurance policy and a $5 million umbrella policy. he paid off the victim's family |

There's a question on whether or not they'll allow him back into the NFL. the NFL commisioner is bit of a c***y, but only too rightly. So many of the NFL players get themselves in serious trouble.
Running illegal dog fights out of their house, another one of them is up on charges for another hit and run this year. And the season hasn't even started. But that's still a patheticly short sentencing. |

On Friday, November 28, 2008, Burress suffered an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound to the right thigh in the New York City nightclub LQ when his Glock pistol, tucked in the waistband of his sweatpants, began sliding down his leg; apparently in reaching for the gun he inadvertently depressed the trigger, causing the gun to fire http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plaxico_Burress |

yeah right, walk around a night club with your glock loaded and the safety off I'm fairly sure on a "Glock" that the safety is built in to the trigger and isn't a 'switch' on the side? You're right though, walking around in a club with a pistol in your trackie dacks is pretty f***in retarded. |

Don't downplay swine flu - someone in Europe just died from it. People die from the flu every year!!!! If anything swine flu is milder then some previous years flu efforts. But hey lets inject everyone with Tamiflu and every AB known to man kind. |

the mortality of swine flu is roughly the same as the Spanish flu - the largest pandemic killer in history.
Once this flu breaks out expect fun to commence. |

the mortality of swine flu is roughly the same as the Spanish flu - the largest pandemic killer in history. nah it's not, particularly once you get outside Mexico where 90% of fatalies were recorded.. The case fatality rate (CFR) of the pandemic strain is estimated at 0.4% (remembering Mexico accounts for most of those deaths) 1918 flu was about 2 or 3 %, that's a whole order of magnitude. eg. it'd be like saying Australia or Canada has the same population as America. |

lol bizzaro QGL - I trolled Obes!
Yes, worrying about swine flu is silly. If you have to catch one type of flu, statistically you should want to catch swine flu over the more common strains. last edited by BillyHardball at 16:19:28 17/Jun/09 |

You believe media sensationalising stories. I bet you think swine flu is a massive issue in Australia at the moment too. wtf lol, I don't think they made it up as I heard about it from various sources... Also the media is saying not to worry about the swine flu either, I guess it depends where you get your media from. me= sky news, abc. I guess the main initial worry about the swine was that young and healthy people were more prone to dieing from swine than say the elderly.. But 99.6% of people are pulling through with no probs it seems. last edited by Martz at 17:32:00 17/Jun/09 |
