Microsoft Australia have given us a heads up for a new Gears of War Xbox 360 bundle due to hit Aussie store-shelves on June 4. As well as the Pro Console, the bundle will also come with both Gears of War and Gears of War 2 and will retail for approximately AU$450.

This bundle is perfect for fans of the third-party shooter genre. In selling over 11 million units worldwide, "Gears of War" has become a blockbuster franchise, giving gamers two of the most popular video games of recent years. In addition to "Gears of War" and "Gears of War 2", the bundle includes the Xbox 360 Pro console, wireless controller, 60GB hard drive, Xbox 360 headset, component high definition AV cable and an ethernet connectivity cable.

If you're one of those gamers still on the fence about console gaming, now could be the time to jump on in.

gow and gow2 were great games, but I would've thought the time to cash in on them with this bundle was when gow2 launched, not 6 months later after most of the aussies have stopped playing it online.

Still, nice pro bundle. I was considering buy one in the future and this is enticing.

Meh would have been better with a custom 1 off Xbox ... just another games bundle IMO. Not anything special at all..

Damn, when i bought my pro console (60gb) I payed $370 + $50 for GoW1. :(
