In a move that will either get people excited or piss a lot of people off, EA have announced the Xbox 360 version of Fight Night Round 4 will feature both the legendary Muhammad Ali and Australia's own Anthony Mundine on the package cover.

"I'm proud to be on the cover of Fight Night Round 4 with Ali. He's always been an inspiration that I looked up to both inside and outside the ring" said Mundine. "Now in Fight Night Round 4, everyone can see how good I really am against fighters like Ali, Tyson, Sugar Ray and all the other champions of boxing."

haha s***, this is exactly what I was thinking. The tyson doco that came out recently really drove home how much of a wanker mundine is. I got more respect for tyson after he beat a bitch or two and bit off old mates ear and burnt out than mundine acting like a c********* all the time but not breaking any laws.

edit: Tyson was like a god damn monk for a long time, constantly studying old boxing tapes, training and not even having sex... dude fell of the rails so bad after his mentor died, pretty sad s***.

I think that the biggest problem with boxing is that its actually a really subtle art. So much happens out of the understanding of a layman or happens so quickly that you miss it, since you werent watching for it. I think that is why the truly great boxers are so amazing. They show such proficiency that people with little to no understanding of boxing can begin to see entertaining stuff. Tyson was a f***ing animal, you watch him boxing and you are watching speed and power like few or maybe no others display.

I think that a huge part of enjoying boxing as someone with little understanding is either being interested in the story of the boxer or caught up in their charisma (like a rocky or the dude that rusty played in that boxing movie) or such great skill that you can see entertaining feats (like tyson bringing the pain) or a combo of both (like ali).

Boxers like mundine are probably really good boxers but maybe not good enough for the untrained eye to see and is such an unlikable s*** that I couldn't give a f*** about their story. You watch a mundine fight and you see a few hits and a s***load of clinching and its f***en boring.

Qmass Mundine very very rarely knocks his opponents out. A professional boxer who can't knock someone out is pointless. I am not talking technical KO's but real KO's, the so called man can't do that part. That is what makes a great boxer and not a mediocre one. He simply does not have a killer punch that puts them down once and they don't get back up.
