i've just returned from a holiday in new souf and the only cop cars i saw were hilux crew cabs with the monkey cage on the back or camrys
i mean seriously, who you gonna outrun in a camry? even my tired old falcon could outrun one. Kinda funny crossing the border from camrys and hiluxes to the first two cop cars i saw in qld were an SS and an XR6T.

Yeah they are Aurions, not Camry. Basiclaly the car but the Aurion, as BigZub said, is ~200Kw 6cyl.

They are also common in Brisbane.
