I'm trying to organise a present (a mobile phone) for my girlfriend who is currently living in England and I was wondering if you were perhaps in a generous mood and could help me out with a billing address by proxy. I'd be prepared to pay you some extra as a thanks for your services.

But yeah it pretty much sucks. Needless to say it's been hurting my wallet/phone bill quite badly, which is why I'm trying to organise this phone for her so we can get skype calls going (those bastards in the UK get unlimited skype calls for free where we have to pay extra for a limited number of minutes! Just the Australian way I guess...

I'm hoping to go over there in a few months on a 2 year work visa (Youth Mobility Scheme) and hopefully we can come back to Aus together in a year or so. See how it goes I guess...

Why not just skype on a computer? I've been overseas for 7 months now, and me and my partner just skype everyday - doesn't cost anything, plus with cam you can see them as well as chat.

Yeah we'll do that when we can but at the moment and probably for a quite a while longer she won't have easy access to a computer. Also, as well as calls we do a lot of messaging and with skype chat on our mobiles we'll be able to do that even when we're not home.
