THQ have sent through word their open-world Mars smash-em-up will not only be released in Australia on June 4, but a demo for the game has also been released on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store today.

Developed by THQ internal studio Volition, Inc., Red Faction: Guerrilla is a 3rd person, open-world shooter featuring real physics-based destruction, a story-driven single-player campaign and robust multiplayer options. The demo features an action-packed single-player mission introducing the groundbreaking GeoMod 2.0 Destruction Engine, and comes just weeks before the June 4th launch of Red Faction: Guerrilla.

Having had some hands-on time with this baby at last year's E3, I can tell you it's a hell of a lot of fun. Check out the demo and tell us what you think.

Did a wiki check and it seems like its on pc if wiki can be trusted. If so wheres the pc demo :(

PC's don't get demo's anymore. PC users pirate them too much.

Yeah, the lack of destructible terrain makes me sad, how can it call itself Red Faction and not have that :(

god red faction was a f***en sweet game, i remember trying to burrow myself around like a worm in the glasshouse map or whatever it was. Also thermal vision + sniper rifle was ownage.
