Nice pic [though not my dice for a colour, the green, for a wallpaper], what sort of camera did you use?
I love in/out of focus shots like that.

My wallpaper rotates every 15 minutes though, one of the features in Windows 7. It's currently cycling through a bunch of redesigned games wallpapers which you can see here:

This is my current wallpaper http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper_beta/details/1586/welcome_to_hell.html Other than that, my desktop is messy and in no condition to go out in public.

edit: Looking at Rev's desktop and something I've noticed across my 2 computers, why the hell does vista make all the icons so damn big compared to XP?

I haven't noticed much of a difference. Rev's screenshot is at 1920x1200, which, if your monitor is running at a lower res, looks huge. That could be it.

I run at 1920x1200 but shrunk for the sake of not raping the thread.

http://img57.imageshack.us/img57/2586/deske.jpg

I run the Emerge Shell instead of normal windows. Only downside to this is that Win7's built in image rotation doesn't work so I gotta manualy change it. Buu.

They seem bigger than i have them. Easily changed with ctrl + mousewheel on desktop though. You are not forced to have them bigger.

I use this to auto rotate my wall papers (as in change them, not change their orientation). Works well.

Here's my new current wallpaper (It changes every 5 minutes) and my desktop nice & clean and not covered in 1000 icons like it usually is :)

edit: I'm actually running Windows XP with the Vista VG Ultimate theme from this guy.

Does the free version of object doc support the system tray? I'm actually using rocket dock + kk menu and it kind of has a systray but it's rather buggy.

Nah, system tray replacement is the paid version only. The paid version also has as many docks as you like, fly out menus, and a bunch more. Works fine on multiple monitors, etc. Free to Plus upgrade is only 27 odd clams, not too pricey at all. I got the plus version and waved goodbye to the task bar ever since.

The only weird behaviour I see occasionally is Windows Update doesn't know what to do if you click 'install now' and the task bar is missing, so that might be Microsoft's problem, I dunno. Right click on the dock to shut it down for a sec, update, start up again it's all good.

Yes it's Objectdoc. I was using RK Launcher prior to this but it wasn't as stable.

Also i'm not actually running vista it's just a vista theme i'm using through windows blinds.

Winxp with Vista visuals > Vista with Vista Visuals.

As in my post above, RocketDock. It doesn't have many features and pretty much only functions as a fancy spot to keep your shortcuts but since that's all I need it works well for my purposes. I would like the full systray support but
Free to Plus upgrade is only 27 odd clams
$30 for what is basically somewhere fancy to put my icons (I wouldn't use the other features of plus) isn't worth it to me to upgrade to objectdock plus.
