Well I was a stupid female driver yesterday and backed into my garage :( It left a large indent around 10cm on the bottom of the main top panel (that goes over the car doors).
Now my car looks like an incompetent woman driver drives it, and I can't have that

Anyone recommend any panel beater places around inner south and the approx costs involved?

Any know ones that will give free quotes?

Back up into your garage once again, that'll fix it.

Take it to your nearest 'Dint Doctor' they're cheaper then getting anything pannel beated (no painting either.)

They'll tell you on the spot weather they can do it and how much it will cost.
They cant do some larger dints or certin positions.

doesn't work if there is paint missing or if the dent is any other than a perfect convex shape from the impact of a hail ball or similar (kinda like if you backed into a garage door)

your insurance excess is probably less than what you will pay if you (as a woman) take it into a panel beater
so in summary, go get two quotes from random near by panel shops and compare it to your excess

McCormacks - recommended northside panel beaters (Rainbow St, Sandgate)
Weatherall Smash Repairs‎ - recommended city-ish area (just north of the royal womens)
dunno about southside, its the s***ty end of town anyway

Huh. I guess the dint doctor that got the dint out after my Dad hit a tree 4wding wasn't a real dint doctor then. Just stole the name.

Yes there is paint missing. It was scrapped against metal :(

If there wasn't any exposed metal I would probably leave it.

yeah what would I know, and yes you need a panel beater because they will remove the dent + paint it

and she claims to be an advanced parker!!!!

I used Apex smash repairs at Milton and they did an awesome job. Went to the trouble of doing a full clean inside and out too.
