A Maths teacher here at my school is attempting a "6 degrees of separation" experiment to see if he can find an old friend that used to live in Brisbane. I've hastily pasted together a website to try to keep tabs on how the search goes (so he has some data to tell his students other than whether it worked or not). Since most of you are Brisbanites you may be able to pass on the message to a friend who is most likely to know Bryan Brown.

Yeah, this is hardly going to push the 6 degrees theory to the limits when the two people you are trying to connect are in the same state.

There is a lot of people on QGL that I wouldn't say I know even though I know their online handle. Such as someone like Maxe, I would say he is really 2nd deg to me, even though we've met.

Brian Brown may or may not be in Queensland anymore, as with his siblings or Family. The information is well over 30 years old.

I'm not asking people to find him, I'm asking if you can pass on the information to the most likely person/s in your circle of friends that may know him. I chose to post here because you guys are closer geographically than I am and there may even be someone that knows the Bald hills area well. There are also teachers that I know that I'll ask about his brother.

The intent of the experiment is not to find him via googling (although i'm sure you'll appreciate how common the name is if you're trying to do it that way), but by using friends and acquaintences.
