Provided you have an OEM license, I can generally have a PC up and running again in 10 minutes with a fresh install with the latest Service Packs an quite a few updates :)

Considering the amount of f***ing about that happens with 2 days LANs, 1 day LANs are probably as good as 2 day ones. Especially if you're one of the people running it.

I went to this yesterday.. and wish i had the time up my sleave to be there all day today.

they play mostly TF2, L4D, CS, HL DM, Q3a. There were a few COD4 servers, but they were un-used, which was a bit of a crime. I didn't get into the console aspect (which has become really, really big now).


props to the LS admins for putting together such an awesome bash - it really felt (and smelt :/ ) like an oldskool Qgl Anz bash.
