at lunch today I was enlightened asto one of those little things that lawyers/solicitors do 'because they can'. I was quite interested in something that the solicitor at the table had to say...

this solicitor has only ever paid for one parking ticket in her life. that was the first one. every one since magically finds itself under the wiper of a nearby car and gets paid without her having to do anything about it.

what other day to day s*** like this do these people hack their way out of?

what i use to do when i illegally parked was take a ticket off another car and put it on mine.

i did this once and when i came back to my car, the car i took the ticket off had another ticket...

I got a speeding ticket yesterday :(

Pig bastards are now hanging out in groups in random residential areas. There was like 6 of them for ONE radar. Why the hell are we paying these dicks? Isnt there something more productive they could be doing with their time (yes I will admit catching speeders is productive, but 6 cops with one radar is REDICULOUS)

Also yeah, dont leave parking tickets too long, once they get to the debt collector the admin fee is like $45. I know someone already mentioned that, but its crazy.

I wasnt bitching about getting caught, I was bitching at the waste of money in having 6 cops hang out while one is working. I literally sat there for 10 mins watching this disgusting man in blue hock and spit on someone front fence several times, and they're all just standing and sitting around having chats.

I dont want to pay for that s***. You might not care because you get all your taxes back from welfare incentives, but some of us just work really farking hard, still cant make ends meet, and still dont qualify for any assistance from the government. If Im paying police wages, it would be nice to be assured that they are working. Maybe I should quit uni, and my jobs, and become a cop. Or get pregnant.

I got breathalysed yesterday at 9:30 in the morning. They had 4 or 5 cops all with a breathalyser and one with a radar.

Good for them I say - but then again I didn't get busted for anything

maybe it is so they don't keep people waiting when they pull over a big group of speeding people in a short time frame.

maybe it is a waste of money, but i'm sure those cops pull in more money in fines than what the state pays them so they are still in front.

speed camera operators (at least) are earning overtime, the fines they rack up more than cover their wages. probably the same thing with speed traps.

like at the end of a normal shift they'll hop in a speed camera van and go sit in a certain spot and rake in some cash to pay off their coke dealer/whategevr.
