We watched the original Spanish film called "[Rec]" a couple of weeks ago. It was definitely one of the best horror films I have ever seen. It's one of those hand held camera movies, but it's by far been done in the most effective way. From what I can tell about the previews of Quarantine, it's pretty much a scene-by-scene remake. I wanna see if the Hollywood one is as good as the original... but if it is anywhere near as good, y'all gotta go see this thing in the cinema.

just saw it
i thought it was good, the ending was pretty cool. it's like a zombie movie except a bit more realistic it's kinda odd, i'm sure alot of people will dislike it but i like this kind of movie. took a little time getting used to Deb from dexter not saying f*** every f*** every second line. hey booyah, suck my nuts y/n ? last edited by paveway at 14:33:13 14/Dec/08 |

We watched the original Spanish film called "[Rec]" a couple of weeks ago Yeah, saw Rec about a year ago, would definately recommend seeing that over the remake, given that original horrors usually s*** all over the US remakes. |

Well I really wanna see the new one and see if does stand up to the original - it might be scarier just because you don't have to read subtitles.

Yeh I don't normally like shakeycam. I watched Rec last night ; was pretty funny, I'd just said to BillyH after bout 2/3's of the movie that I didn't find it that scary, then it goes into spooky-ass hyperdrive for the last part of the movie. |
