No music thread is complete with out a tribute to the late music man of Brisbane, DJ Angus (aka DJ Bribe). The Brisbane hip hop/dance music scene wouldn't be what it is today without this guy. RIP!

This was back in the eighties, long before hip-hop really hit Brisbane. His talent and respect stretchrd to the US attracting shout-outs from Flava-Flav at the Public Enemy concert held at Festival Hall in 1990.



He then progressed to residency at The Beat and then of course The Tube.

This is a snapsot of his last performance at Candee Flip earlier this year, if only I got wind back time and go :(
