can anyone reconment any good xbox/ps2 rpg games? Pref have at least the following things

1. Items you equip
2. Talent points or way to specialise in skills/attacks etc
3. No split screen, you both appear on the same screen

PS2 - Bldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

Was fun in the day although there is't a whole heap of depth to the itemisation.

Baldur's gate: dark alliance
Everquest: Champions of Norath
Dungeons and Dragons Heroes
Justice League Heroes
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (pretty sure there was at least an original XBox version if not a ps2 one)

dark alliance is also on xbox and there is another baulders gate one which is pretty good to

I'd pick the same list as khel (minus the everquest)

There is:

Fable
Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifers Call/ Nocturne
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4

But these are all Single player games but they are very very fun and Addictive

The only (other) I can think of are games like the Star Ocean series.
But it's not really 2 players... The main player does all the walking/talking and the second player only comes into it on the battle field.

There is another one, that use to support up to 8 players (Multi-Tap) on the PS that i'm trying to think of. Horrid graphics but it was fun to bash around in back in the day. I'll see if I can find it when I get home, it might still be around somewhere.

I use to look for these kinds of games to play with my Brother. Diablo 2, Baldur's gate and Dungeon Seige were the best I can remember. These were unfortunatly on the PC though.

i managed to get EB to find a copy of D&D heros (xbox) and sent it via like three stores to my local one... awsome game, despite the scratches on the disc it managed to completly copy to my xbox hard drive where the other bazzilion (games i own) sit... and now loads instantly as opposed to that slow arse load speed off the disc...

either way its a great co-op game with levels, talents and items... just what i was looking for... keep them coming if you have them guys...
