Hey qgl, need some comp help here.
I've been trying to find out for a while how to allocate the default sound device for winamp/PVR2 to be the speakers, while having my headset being the default device for all my games and MSN. Normally to do it i need to unplug my headset, start up music/winfast, then plug it in and start tf2/msn... It's just a hassle Anyone know of any progs/apps, or special way to do it in vista? |

I don't fully understand your setup.
If it's the case of a couple of sound-cards, Winamp can be configured through: Options->Preferences->Plugins->Output->DirectSound Output->Configure The rest of it I have no idea. |

I've got one USB headset, and one set of logitech speakers.
I want some programs to run through the speakers, and some programs to run through the headset. |

i tried to work this one out a few months ago, same setup.
in the end it really just came down to what programs i used. skype for example lets you select the different devices, but most programs just use the default device. in that case you just gotta change the default device in sound settings. |
