It explains the differences between LCD and Plasma TV technology. It is also of note that Panasonic do in fact sell both technologies.

In particular I would draw your attention to "The Facts" and download the PDF document they have linked to.

Please post any comments you may have, however I imagine any disagreements we may have had over this subject in the past will now be put to rest.

They could have made all their sizes Plasma or all of them LCD - they realized that the two different technologies perform better than each other at different sizes - so they make both (LCD for small and Plasma for big)?

I think the difference between the two is on the same level as the FPS debate.

Forget Plasma/LCD. Laser TV's where it's at. It's got cool name, i.e. "Laser" and better technologies than either Plasma/LCD.

i'm so glad they didn't do truths that were less than absolute or incomplete facts. although i downloaded & read the pdf & the only thing in it i'd classify as 'fact' (complete or otherwise) is that panasonic prefer to push thier more expensive products than thier cheaper ones... whoda thunk it!? ;P
