haha it is so f***ing lame; I heard it on while I was watching and thought it sounded terrible - went out to watch it and man, it's such a great example of how so much Australian television is made:

1) find concept that is popular overseas
2) rip it off
3) fail

I can see why they did it though - they only need to film about 10 minutes of HILARITY and then show it in slow motion replays for the other 15 minutes of the timeslot.

I don't know what it is about the japanese game shows but most are f***ing hilarious. More people over there seem to see the humour in things that would get you sued over here or in the US.

These TV execs need to learn the golden rule : if you wouldn't consider breaking the law and blowing your internet cap to download the torrent - then don't bother putting it on tv.

* Introduce guests and talk s*** for 5 mins
* Hole in the wall
* Replay #1
* Replay #2 from different angle
* Replay #3 from another angle
* Cut to host cranking out another corny one liner
* Back to guests, talk s*** for 5 mins
* Replay #4, #5 and #6 in quick succession
* Ad break
* Repeat
