What kind of things you into? are you fit and health looking for exercise, a beer monster looking for pubs, or a mixture of both?

I'm not really into seeing the night life, but I do plan to check out some of germany's awesome beer halls\gardens. I'm more interested in historical\architectural stuff.

Just a couple of ideas.
Sir John Soane's Museum (http://www.soane.org/) has has some interesting items, some of the architecture of the building is awesome too. You can take a walk around some of the smaller streets around Westminster, quite a few 18th century buildings around. St Paul's Cathedral is always worth a look just to take in the scale of it, Tate Modern is 5 minutes over the 'wobbly' bridge from there too. If you do fancy some beers, friday/saturday night on the river at Richmond after chilling out in Richmond park in the afternoon, views right across the city is always nice. Soho if you want something more central is also worth a look. |

When you're in Munich, I strongly recommend a visit to the Concentration Camp at Dachau (about a 45min train ride from Munich)... I was there in winter, waist-deep snow... an amazing and eye-opening experience...

The castle at Salzburg has a kar98k and about 100 other rifles on display if you're into that. The tram thing up to it is pretty cool too. If you're going there and you like chocolate you'll be s***ting fully formed mozart chocolates in no time.

incredible with the crack ups again lol
pretzels are definitely something to hve in munich, i dont think ive ever eaten them before anywhere else and it was a great thing with beer definitely check out the markets in munich i stayed quite a few hours there. not far from it there is a jewish propaganda monument which was bizarre to see. i was looking for the beer hall that the nazi's' started out in but it was torn down apparently. if you really like your architecture I would maybe visit klagenfurt in Austria, not as good as Wien but still coll to see with the old renesaince style buildings there. venice isnt too var from klagenfurt either, did that in a few hours by car. expect to pay through your ass for the austrian highway use, their toll system was really weird and expensive. its probably on your list already but check out the swan kings palaces around munich, i forget which one it was but one of them was an inspiration for the castle at the disneyland in the US |

I'm actually going to Bath in September! For a wedding, I've got no idea what we're going to be doing the other days there...

Just spent the weekend in Bath, and drove past stonehenge (both for the second time)... enjoyed both those again. The Roman Baths are so sweet, dont know why but the bottom corner of the main bath looking up towards the Abbey, could sit and watch that view all day...
Also, if your going that way, the Glastonbury Abbey is meant to be really good, but I havent done it myself, so only on hearsay. |

CotswoldsLOL! Anyway, Bath is nice, good for a day. Go to Sally Luns too. London. f*** loads. Do the sites. Do an open bus tour. Hit one of the 4000+ pubs / bars then clubs (AKA, The End, The Cross, Ministry of Sound, Fabric) are some of the bigger popular ones. Check out dontstayin.com for more. Get up to Lords and Abbey road (near my pad). Get on a boat party too if you can. Tones go from Embankment. Awsome fun, up and down the Thames, see all the sites and piss up too. Germany: Munich (love this town. Get down to sax bar for a bevy. Good crew there.) Berlin (love this town more. So much to do. Get on a free walking tour. Visit the Sony centre building. crazy. Cracking clubs there too.) |

while in Munich, you could try to zugspitze (tallest mountain in Deutschland)
train out then catch the see-through-bottom cable car. the view is amazing! |
