Anyone up for having another dinner meet?

Last one was at the Norman and it has bloody nice steaks (of the one bite I had).

If I didnt have to drive so far id say the Belgium beer cafe in the city, good food, better beer, but parking and what not is a bitch. Id be keen for the norman, might bring the missus along too.

huh ?
The belgium beer cafe is just foriegn beer (not better) and they way over charge for it. And the food is at best "ok". Eds you have been infected with yuppie disease where you think somewhere is good becuase it is trendy.

No, I had a meal there on fathers day, it was actually quite good. The beer is very expensive, but it was interesting trying the differant types and what not.

I dont think its a good place to go weekly but i thought it was interesting for people to go to :)

Assuming I have money at the time, I might be able to do a steak at the Norman.

well, it's better if you prefer it... but then at $13.50 a pint, it's a bit steep (almost like paying singapore prices again)

depends what beer you drink. $13.50 is one of the top 3 most expensive beers and its 11.5%, so really, its cheaper than drinking lots of beers :P

Why not all just go to Kat's house for dinner? She'll cook a big feed for everyone. If there's room, otherwise yeah, somewhere in the city will do.

Last time I went there they were charging 6.50 for a POT (not a pint) of Stella

Stella while nice is not $4 better then a new.

well i live in the bush now(arana hills) and im broke.

Therefore I have some scrawny bush turkeys about the place that I can spear and cook up with some yams and assorted vegies that I have growing in the backyard.

Grogwise I half a Sunnyvale Goon Bag left, Some nasty left over homebrew, some $5 tawny port, a few VB tallies and a bottle of Passion Pop for Kat.

So if you arent fussy you can head out here to the Turkey Ranch.
