So the new installment of this insanely fun FPS is on its way, with a demo to be released tomorrow according to 2K Games:
The demo is ~250 MB, and contains the complete Seriousopolis Uptown level from the game, which can be played solo, or over LAN or online by up to four people.Linky. And yeah, apparently the full version will include SIXTEEN player co-op! :) promoted forum item Update by trog: It's out! |

I liked playing serious sam at lans but the single player/co-op got too repetitive for my liking. DM is where it's at |

Had a bash of this last night on Medium and I got the s*** kicked outta me. Dunno if it's because I haven't played a game in ages or what, but damn it was hard. Also, the graphics were nice and detailed and the gameplay was fast-as.
I found it wasn't as easy to dodge enemy fire like in the earlier games so when there were heaps of enemies on the screen you got hit no matter what. Very, very hard to stay alive. Anyway, looking forward to the full game and that 16 player co-op mode. |

The second encounter was some truly crazy s***. The boss at the end was a bit of a let down though.
