I'm not into Opera myself but I know a few of the crowd here are. Opera has removed the banners, found within our browser, and the licensing fee. Opera's growth, due to tremendous worldwide customer support, has made today's milestone an achievable goalLink. promoted forum item |

It's nice and fast, both loading the program and loading web pages. If didn't come to rely on all the extensions FF provides me such as no ads, weather, gmail notification, bookmarks bar, then I'd definitely be using Opera. Also there's no more of that java s*** with this Opera version, it just uses the java you have installed already. |

Awesome news. I'm using it now. So far I like it better than Firefox on this PC at work. I might even switch to Opera!

I bet this will piss off everyone who actually paid for opera. Is there still a paid version with more stuff with a free cut down like winamp? Or is this the full thing? (downloading now so time will tell, hopefully this crashes less than the last version :( )
