Topic: Ausz Boards Offer - Discount Zboards and keysets

Recently established Australian importer Ausz Boards want to offer all the gamers out there reading this post the chance to pick up a funky ZBoard keyboard at a special discounted price.

What is a ZBoard? Head over here and click the "What is a Zboard" button on the left hand side for a full explanation, but to summarise, it is basically a specially designed keyboard that is able to have customisable "keysets" attached that changes it's functionality appropriately. Want a keyboard that is specially designed for playing World of Warcraft? Then grab the WoW keyset and snap it onto your ZBoard base and away you go! Keysets exist for many other popular games including Everquest 2, Battlefield 2 and Doom 3. As well as gaming keysets, a number of professional keysets exist for use with applications such as 3d Studio Max, Photoshop and Dreamweaver. Check out this link for details on the full range of keysets currently available. Each ZBoard also comes with two standard keysets included: a gaming keyset and a standard keyset that lets the Zboard act as a normal keyboard.

A ZBoard by itself with just the standard included keysets will set you back $100. Buy a ZBoard and a game keyset at the same time for $139, or a ZBoard and a work keyset for $160. Game keysets by themselves are $50. The Photoshop work keyset by itself is $60, the other work keysets are $65. But remember to mention you saw this post when you place your order with Ausz Boards to get your discount.

On top of these prices, Ausz Boards are also offering a volume discount. All orders placed within a week of each other will be considered part of the same bundled order, though customers will still pay and be otherwise treated separately. When you place your order, just mention whether you are interested in being bundled with any other orders that come through for the benefit of a volume discount or not. If you list yourself as interested, your order will automatically be counted with any other orders that arrive the same week and discounts applied accordingly. Discounts get greater the more orders that are placed, so it might pay (no pun intended) for the interested people to all place their orders at once, or at least within a week or each other, to get the maximum discount you can. Prices for the volume discount are listed below.

 1 to 1112 to 2324 to 4748+
Plain ZBoard$100$95$90$86
ZBoard + Game Keyset$139$130$125$120
ZBoard + Professional Keyset$160$150$140$135
Additional Game Keyset$50$47$45$43
Additional Professional Keyset$65$60$55$50
Photoshop Keyset$60$55$50$45

To place your order, or if you have any questions, you can contact Ausz Boards at support@auszboards.com. Don't contact any Ausgamers staff if you have questions about the ZBoards, prices, or anything else related to this offer. The most we'll do is forward you through to the support staff at Ausz Boards anyway, but more than likely we'll just laugh at your inability to follow instructions and ignore you. Enjoy!

probably just personal preference but as far as these new fandangled keyboards go, i rekon this keyboard seems like it'd be far more flexible and better suited to gamers with obscure customized keyboard needs but hell, i've never used either keyboard so i could be totally wrong. It'd be interesting to take both to a lanning event and put them up against eachother to see what gamers would prefer. I know these Exeltek guys are wanting to be a sponsor at the next Shafted Lan in Melbourne with demo's and one to give away as a prize. Have you guys at zboards ever thought of doing something like that? might be a good way to promote the keyboard becuase I know something like this I wouldn't buy unless I'd tried it out first.

Sorry for my ignorance but the plain zboard is just a normal standard run of the mill key set right?

and also a personal comment, i would worry about key slippage myself and the keys are blank.

Yeah, thats definately a good point, think they've got that sort of stuff worked out. I remember when I was first reading about these apparently the key twist on to the board and once twisted they use some kind of suction method that permanently sticks until they're untwisted, also with the blank keys, i think it comes with reusables stickers or something from memory that you can put on whichever keys you like.

It's interesting that you mentioned about emailing shafted a few weeks ago, did you email admins @ shafted.com.au? I'm actually on that list and don't remember seeing the email come through but i get so many emails i could have easily missed it. It's probably worth while sending another one, I don't think the exeltek guys have had a response yet either from the shafted guys so im not sure whats going on there.

Secondly we would ask viewers to refrain from making smart (or dumb) ass comments about our site.

I personally cbf taking a company seriously if they can't even take themselves seriously. That site is just terrible... it would take less than 15mins to make something decent. It just makes me question your work ethic.

A plain basic site really wouldn't really need any code. A simple 2 column css page layout would do the trick, which can be easily obtained and edited with minor effort. For me it would of taken more effort to do thatt site in frames like it has been done than to stick with basic css & html.

I'm just saying this as it was my first impression, and first impressions count for something.

Nice.

I'd like to have the Photoshop one if someone wants to buy it for me. Be cool to have a heap of hotkeys ready to go because I can never remember most of the buttons.

No complaints from me. But one problem with the website that has to be fixed NOW. Is the width of the page. Scrolling from side to side sucks.\

That is all.

Also regarding LAN's , we emailed 15 LAN's or more a few weeks back (including Shafted) and only got a few responses. Currently we work with two LAN places. 1 in Sydney and 1 in Perth. Might need to do another round of emails i think.

You should sponsor the next qgl...

I think the keyboards are great and i would love to have one of those bf2 ones BUT I just cant justify paying $150 for a keyboard that will make a game that I play a few hours a week (1 hour max a day) a little bit easier. You buy the game and then have to f***ing upgrade just to play it, it just ends up to be alot of money.

I would like to say that it is still cheaper to order the Zboard with extra game keyset + delivery direct from the US. Have a look for your selves. I got Zboard + World of Warcraft keyset all for less the $110.

There's also this legitimate business method called advertising properly and not relying on spamming forums to muster business...

Hi Ausz Boards,
I've been speaking to the admins at shafted about having you and your keyboards as a sponsor and they are interested, it's just that you emailed the wrong address last time which is why you didn't get a response. If your still interested in being a sponsor at shafted can you email your details asap to admins@shafted.com.au
