If you right click on an image and do a "make this your wallpaper", or whatever the command is, where does that image get saved? or how would i find it?

I want to be able to photoshop the image but i wasnt the one who made it the wallpaper so i dont know where it comes from.

can you google desktop it?

possibly your temp folder - default C:\windows\temp\ - could be anywhere in there, search for the extension.

For XP:
Sometimes it will appear in 'C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft' as 'Wallpaper1.bmp' or 'Wallpaper2.bmp' etc.

i ended up tracking the image down using the browser 'history' and a bit of the ol' detuctive reasoning.

does anyone know of the winxp bliss background with a wrx or some rally car in it and where i can get it?

Googled for "Windows background WRX bliss" and got this as the 7th hit. Click it and find it as the bottom-middle wallpaper. You may have to register.
