This looks like it might be half decent, definately cant be worse than the other tripe he's done. This is excluding the remake of Dawn of the Dead.

Yes! I've been waiting for thie movie for a long time.

It's also got Simon Baker and Dennis Hopper starring in it, and they're both cainers.

p.s. if you weren't aware, this is continuing the story of Night of the Living Dead -> Dawn of the Dead -> Day of the Dead -> Land of the Dead

If you haven't seen the first three, i'd suggest you hire them all out and watch them before you see Land of the Dead.

It comes out on August 4th.

Looks pretty wicked. Notice that the zombies are getting smarter (using guns, communicating etc). Maybe we'll see some sort of freaky zombie society getting setup...

Plus if Dennis Hopper doesnt use makeup he could double as a zombie.

WTF!! How can you not like the originals, they were classics even the original black and white night of the dead was awesome.
Also george didnt do the remake of dawn if thats what you were thinking.

They were teaching a zombie in Day of the Dead how to communicate etc and in the end of the movie when s*** was going down for them all the zombie found a gun and shot someone with it.
Definately gonna go see this movie.
Also maybe someone can help me with this, original theory is that radiation from a NASA accident caused the zombification, however if you have seen night of the living dead and dawn of the dead(remake aswell) they make it out to be a religous thing. In NOTD the priest who got bitten survives and was able to recover from the zombies through some sort of exorcism I suppose, and in dawn that black guy (who also plays the priest on TV in the remake) says "When there is no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth" which makes me think theres gonna be some religous twist.

I hope this movie tells us how it all started anyway.

Romero is just brilliant, I used to be a big fan... but horror/gore filcks just lost their appeal when cg was invented i guess.
