doom3 was better than hl2 by far. and i thought hl2 would be better.

Ta, updated the file description to indicate this. Painkiller is getting quite a few patches that seem to be pretty good - its uptake by the CPL is also an indicator that it might be worth playing. I honestly haven't checked it out but I've only heard good things about it - what is the multiplayer like?

Tepid. Ur one of the only people which agress with what i keep saying to my friends.

For some reason i enjoyed Doom3 so much more then HL2, either because i was obsessed with Doom 1+2 or for some other reason However my friends totally disagreed then again. I was not excited about either game (no hype). So i wasn't favouring any of them. Yeah i wanted both but its not like the hype around the new Zelda for example.

I enjoyed Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 equally. I win.

I enjoyed D3 but I thought it got repetitive real quick and they didn't make enough use of the physics engine to do stuff as they could have. That said I'm looking forward to the expansion pack. It looks pretty cool and maybe not entirely corridor based :)

I prefer HL2 even if it does make me ill.
