Hey, i was planning on buying a dvd/cd duplication machine for $180~ (ex drives) as people keep asking me to burn discs (mainly home) when there is a burner in every pc here, and 3 pcs even have dvd burners. But i though, $180 for a cd/dvd copier +$100 for dvdrw +$30 for dvdrom is a bit pricey, and i have a spare Celeron800 which i could use.. So anyway, i was wondering if anyone has heard of an OS that is dedicated to duplication of DVDs (can also compress like dvdshrink?) and CDs, but with options like (after setting it up), put the discs in, and let it copy.. - even the possibility of multiple burners? Any help with this would be muchly appreciated! - I just really need something where anyone can walk up, hit a key, and copy :s (if all else fails i'll look into seeing if nero has vb apis, etc and sort some automation out with it) |

You must need to copy c***loads of disks to consider having a dedicated machine for it :/
Also it doesn't take long to open up nero and just select 'copy disk', as for compressing DVD's and burning them etc automatically just by hitting a key, well DVD shrink is about the best aint it ?? If I were you I would spend 30seconds showing the ppl in ur hause how to copy the disks... |

Nero BR Enterprise has the option to burn to more than one drive at once. Dunno about OS's though.

there's always a use for this picture :) if people were asking me to copy that ammount of discs and not willing to learn how to do it themselves, I'd tell them to piss off, parents or not. |

'Just Another Mentally Erroneous Spastic' I reckon is better but I can't think of a way to make it shorter.
