You know, the more I see of this, the more I start to think maybe it wont suck after all.

I'll still go see it, will prolly be the first time back in a cinema since Spiderman 2. Going to the movies these days sucks, they're full of wankers who talk non-stop.

Also, not expecting much from this either. Good actors ruined by a has been director. I really hope it's good though.

well clone wars imo was MUCH better than epsisode 1 so im hopeing this will be better than clone wars... looks good so far =)

In Russia there are posters up at their movies with the young darth Vader and some weird mask like in the one he has in the old movies.

whats the story with how he turns into darth vader (becomes all mechanical etc) ?

I've never seen a star wars movie in my life. Though i plan to watch them all in order when that last one comes out. Apparently i am 'missing out'. We'll see.

The movie that impressed me the most recently was Chicago Cab. I dont know what it was about that movie but i bloody loved it......anyone seen it?

do yourself a favour, don't watch them in order, watch episodes 4-6 first (the original movies) before you watch 1-3 (these new ones)

1 is s***, but its alot better if you hit FF everytime jarjar is on the screen (tho it ends up really short)
2 is ok but has a bitter taste after 1
4 is great

6 also very good, again worth noting George Lucas had little to do with it.

With 4, 5 and 6 try to get the laser disc versions (ie. the originals), the dvd versions are recently modified (and not in a good way they make Jaba look like a punce, and Han solo is a good guy not a dirt rotten smuggler among other gay changes).

^ actually he's right George wrote the outline or general story. And Larry Kasdan actually wrote the script therefore keeping to the story and removing all the retarded dialogue that Lucas would have put in.

Yes, old George has good imagination for stories but, lack of talent to write scripts and screen plays and directing....

He came up with the Indiana Jones as well but thank christ Spielberg didn't let Lucase solo on the directing or writing as he'd probably wrecked it.

So in other words he had basically nothing to do with the movies. (ie. squat and little suggest that)

There is a long distance between story boards or even a novell, to a screenplay, to filming and direction...

Aparently the original screenplay for star wars was waffling drivel and that people (some actors in the original movie??? ) basically helped George rewrite it to something amazing. Anyways I wish George had just done whatever he did for 5 and 6 for 1-3 ie. given a storyline to someone else to turn into a movie.

To be perfectly honest I do give props to the guy for setting the whole thing up. He's actually more of a film 'technician'. He virtually invented most of the special effects used in the original trilogy and started ILM.

But sadly he has become this deranged ego-maniac using his dark powers of cgi evil to rape the old films, sadly something I and many others will never forgive him for.

Thats why I refuse to buy anything star wars related anymore. Its my only form of protest.
