A new version of America's Army has been released, taking this free tactical shooter developed by the US Army to version 2.3. You can patch from the previous version, or download the hefty 800mb full version locally from AusGamers.

Update: the Linux patch and installer are now available.

Has anyone started an Aussie team to play AA online??? i am willing to open a hotmail addy to start as i am retired and willing to be secretary.

It could mean a new "aussie AA service nick/number" for easy recognition online which could (??) mean that you will have to go through the training again and rebuild honour points. unless a nick in AA can be changed to put an AU- in front of your present nick?

But as a team using teamspeak2 we should be able to paste up points quickly. anyone interested in joining and help running such a team email me on .

raafadg i am pretty sure there are quite a few aussie clans that play AA online already, even with the AU designation. You could probably hook up with one of them.

i downloaded it all the other day to give it another bash, but the graphics and everything just looked so dated i could not get into it :(
