I was sitting behind the glass near them and saw them majorly mess up* the intro of Exploration of Space. They forgot to activate one of the inputs and couldn't work out what was wrong ... then someone pushed the button and BAM .. it started mid-song in an awkward way+

* = not complaining, it was just interesting to see them recover so easily.

+ = I don't get out much.

Awesome, awesome night.

Met up with Grunt, Mongie, Plecostomus and Evis. I was told Grunt was black but he didn't look like it when I met him.

Anyway, music was awesome, the chicky babes were awesome and the bulbs at the end of the night were awesome. Highlight of the night was when Plecostomus' girlfriend left to go to another club with some guy. Hehe, you really need to have a chat to her, dude.

yeah the family is alright, and im happy to pay a covercharge when they have headline acts, but i dont see how they get off charging covercharge 24/7, its just not that great. The bouncers and their dodgy dresscodes dont help either.

Most times it's free before 10pm anyway. Also, the cover charge is chicken feed compared to the fun you have when you're in there.

I'm yet to see any enforcement of dodgy dress codes...I've seen some people in there in some pretty damn dodgy dress, so you must have been wearing a hessian sack to get rejected :/

nah reload im not saying ive been rejected, ive actually got in wearing the dodgiest clothes i have while my friends have been turned away, ive been in line and seen people get turned away and the clothes their wearing are fine. Ive been inside and seen people wearing clothes that should of got them rejected, thats what makes it a dodgy dress code, or rather just dodgy bouncers.

The point is weather or not you get in depends entirely on the bouncers and their dodgyarse dresscode. Alot of other places are bad in the same way, but the family is by far the worst.

rev, dude all im saying is that for "professional" dj's they're technical abilities should be of a higher level, not being a hater either, in 2000/2001 they were up there as my fav but yeah thats when the german hard trance sound, kai tracid etc was being pushed and was something fresh and new, evetually it all became the same sounding s***, cheesey ass build ups and breakdowns and well, personally didnt enjoy it anymore. my 2c, hope everyone enjoyed their night though :P
