I remember about a year ago, one of the Unis held an all-you-can-drink boat cruise on the river (I think it was on St Patrick's Day?). It was $20 for students and $30 for non-students.
Anyone know when the next one is? |

I swear all of UQ Union's money goes towards Queer Awareness. Don't believe me? Get out your o-week guide and look at the events and workshops.

UQ has the hippies behind their student union, Griffith has the jocks.

Is the Island doing all you can drink deals again. When I organised a boat cruise they wouldn't give it to us because they were sick of people wasting the free beer. I will have to tell some friends to look into it because they'd be interested in running a similar boat cruise too.

No they are having it for us because we ran 2 cruises last year and had something like 700 people on the boat.. and then we broke the drinking record. They didn't have any problems with us so thats why they want us back
that and the bargirl wants my cock |

I don't think the island can hold 700 people I'm pretty sure it can only handle 230.

Now that I think about it CESS (Civil Engineering Student Society) @ QUT, have a boat cruise at least once a year they had trouble filling it last time. NORSK (Norwegian Student Club) @ QUT have 2 a year I think (They don't have trouble filling it) and they have norewegian hotties there, so bonus. ;)
