Yet again, the CS community manages to surprise us all with its craziness! According to this article on an Asian news site, a 22-year old Thai man was found slumped in front of a computer, dead from a heart attack. Apparently the man had begun playing CS on Wednesday evening and was found dead at noon on Thursday. Police investigating the mans death believe the fatal heart attack was a result of tension and fatigue.

In related news, an article on Ananova.com claims that some Thai gaming cafes are adding amphetamines to the water in order to keep players playing longer. Read the rest here.

I've got a video about CS player's going rank because they get killed over a network or net... There's stuff like monitors thrown across the room. One guys snaps every single peice in his computer and all his CD's another guy rips out his cable modem and chucks it in the pool. CS players are f***en crazy bastards... I say stick to Q3.

as CS players must use tactics and adjust to accuracy to kill / win.
in quake you just have to be good with rail (pinpoint) rocket (pinpoint) lightning gun (pinpoint) and plasma (pinpoint)

and i would like to see someone jumping through the air at brakeneck speed while shooting someone in the head with a rocket launcher, and to top it off the other person doesnt die.

i agree that cs right now is fairly gay with the hitboxes and the random accuracy, but you may not notice this but they ARE being fixed atm. i havnt seen much change in quake3 since it came out, cept for the mods (that dont seem to change either)

im not saying quake3 is bad, or gay - i do injoy playing it every now and again what i AM saying is they are 2 COMPLETELY different style games with different objectives
CS = Team based strategy 1st-person
Quake3 = Deathmatch style fast paced 1st-person
