Yet again, it's time for SwitchLAN.

After a lot of searching for a new venue, we've wound up where NudgeeLAN left off. Nudgee International College.

For those of you who haven't been to NudgeeLAN before, this new venue comes with a few perks. We'll have an internet connection, blisteringly cold aircon, carpeted floors, a projector and a barbeque lunch!

Now, for competitions;

DoW got a lot of play last LAN, so we're planning another comp for that this time. We'll also be playing our usual Call of Duty competition as well as Desert Combat. Also, we'll be running an NFSU comp to keep Fik happy.

Will there be any other comps?

I should be there, but I am a bit unsure as of late as my computer has been acting up and I have had to push my upgrade back a few more months.

I had to sell my 172x to cover my bills :(

There'll be other comps played, definately. I don't know what they'll be though, they're usually "spur of the moment" decisions.

i was going to suggest HL deathmatch but by late feb i think heaps of people are going to want to play hl2 dm or even css =/

hl2 dm is all class.

So we've got a new venue...

After finding out first hand how rare a good hall is, we've finally found one. We'll be running SwitchLAN out of the Nudgee International College Auditorium from now on. Which is where NudgeeLAN used to be, before it wound up a few months ago.

We'd like to make our first event here a big one, so I ask you all to try and convince every gamer you know to come along. That way, maybe we'll fill the place.
