I got my helix (top of my ear) pierced a couple of weeks ago and they used the ear ring that is like a sleeper with a ball holding it together.
Just wondering if anyone has any clue of how to undo / get rid of the ball ? |

How does is screw off when both end of the sleeper are inside it =/

both? well I dunno what a sleeper is. You mean it's like a hoop or something? I don't know what all the different kinds are since I'm not gay/metro/emo/goth. Just get some wire cutters and cut the f***er off. Or if you're really hard just rip it out
and to prevent future removal problems I suggest you turn to clipons last edited by WhoopAss at 04:48:35 30/Dec/04 |

yeah i know the ones you're talking about they're a real bitch to get out too.
They don't screw off at all basically the ball is just sitting there by the force of the ring. Where the loop is there is two indents on the ball that the two ends of the sleeper rests on i.e C< where < is the ball :P To get it off you basically have to pry both ends of the sleeper/loop apart so that the ball falls out. Beware though - easier said than done, in my experience it usually likes to fling everywhere. On another note - its a good idea to chuck on some latex gloves when working with piercings. Not for hygeine (sure it helps) but cause it'll give you a way better grip on the metal than your sweaty hands will. last edited by Fizzer at 04:55:49 30/Dec/04 |
