it's sports entertainment.. and i haven't watched it for a good 8 months maybe going up to around 10 months.. but me and my old man always used to watch it with a pizza and it was good fun.. so going to actually see it will be aweomse :)

I was tempted but caught the replay at 6:30. The PPV wasn't great considering summerslam is one of the the big 4. But the crowd made the show :P

Anyway wrestling is awesome, if you dont take it seriously. Also endurance and fitness wise, you'd struggle to find better athletes from any sport in better shape.

i turned off watching wrestling when mick foley retired for good. but yes finding athletes in better shape really is hard, considering what they put themselfs thru. for a good look at the pain and s*** that goes with the show read mick foleys auto biography. its a good read.

This is best answered with another question. Why do you watch a scripted TV show, like Star Trek, Buffy, Law and Order, or even Neighbours? Wrestling isn't scripted sport, it is a scripted TV show where the characters are athletes. Don't try to compare it to watching say football or cricket, compare it to watching Home and Away or CSI.

I went to WWE global warning in melbourne, it was the best show!, 60,000 people packing out telstra dome... i got photos with triple h, brock lesnar, the rock, edge, val venis(playing xbox against him), randy orton, dvon dudley, maven, paul heyman, playing xbox against dvon, michael cole, rey mysterio, kurt angle, hurricane helms to name a few...

i am not going on saturday night, ive lost interest in the wrestling.. if this was a year or so ago and they were in brisbane i would be the one starting this thread. IT WAS WTF AWESOME.. they were just a little too far away for my dads s***ty camera to get any decent pics.. but it went ORF.. Wasa great night - a few too many freaks running around outside the ring for my liking, but hey - it takes all kinds..

Best matches were definantly the two tag matches & the main event.. The dudley's rock (no tables tho :( ), RVD, rey-rey & Booker rock.. Even paul heyman, who I think is a twit was entertaining, although the chump he was managing is a boring Brock lesnar wannabe... Also was interesting to see them in the flesh (so to speak) & see how tall/short they are without the camera angles to make them look bigger...

Still - fantastic night out, would definantly go again if they ever come back to brissy (and would probably pay for the front-row seats next time).. Just dirty that a) they didn't show the action on the big screens b) No big show c) the low-life c*** who stole my program...

I didnt goto the actual event last night, couldnt afford another night off work.
