Any of you hear about the flight crew that found a piece of paper onboard a flight in the toilet saying "B.O.B"? The pilot took it for "bomb on board" and so he turned the plane round, turned out it was just a prank.

In yesterdays editoral (I think) there was a cartoon about it and it was a picture of the pilot smashing though the window of the plane (mid air) and then a quotation mark from one of the travellers saying "Hey I only said my name was Bob"

heeh, if anyone can scan/find this cartoon that would be great :)

It also means "Best on Board" to the flight hostess/s too referring to the best looking passenger on board

It wasn't intended as a joke ek, you dumbass... its a satirical cartoon taking the piss out of f***ing idiots going beserk over the stupidest s*** like little girls because they're paranoid that their government is going to replicate their previous vote-winning efforts.

ek, I thought you were being sarcastic when you said it was funny... as in "its funny but its lame". I don't think the cartoonist was intending it to be humourous, more like it was a witty cartoon exposing folly. (Yes, fpot, you can use dictionary.com too! wow so can I!)

But I just though i'd try and prove it could be classed as a joke to avoid being a dumbass. It's obviously not intended to evoke rapturous laughter, but surely the pun creates amusement and fits in with the category of a joke :)
