Do not use flight center. They are dirty lieing ripoff merchants. Search for other posts on here on flight center to see the number of disgruntled customers (not just me).

I have used Flight Centre for years and they always do a good job.

Last time I flew to Cairns they booked me on Virgin then rang up 2 days later to say they moved my booking to QANTAS saving me $100 - $30 cancellation fee.

Booked Indy Accomodation on the and they got me an awesome appartment on the beach at broadwater for under 1k a week for 2 bedroom ocean views 6 people, 15% better then going direct or though Sunlovers.

Dude I am flying to Brazil in Nove flying out on the 22 of November, and returning on the 22 of Jan

Bne--Syd--LA--Washington--Rio

Rio--San Fran--Bne

Cost is $2200 including taxes
I got the ticket from STA travel

There is a slightly cheaper ticket flying from

Bne--Syd-Argentina-Rio/sal paulo
for $2000 but i wanted a few days back in America

Did you consider BNE-SYD-LA-SYD-BNE and picking up the rest of the flights from LA?

LA is one of the largest flight hubs in the world, and flights purchased there are as cheap as they come.

Thanks to the internet there is no longer the need to pay stupid fees to ripoff merchants in Australia because you want to go somewhere other than melbourne and sydney.

generally speaking for me I have found it cheapest to buy my flights directly from the airline.

Flight Centre block purchases seats and accomodation to offer specials cheaper than available to individuals. also airlines offer lower rates to bulk ticket sellers to maintain a steady income stream. You as individual is a single sale with overhead, Flight Centre is 1000's of sales with little overhead, they make the booking they print the ticket they handle all customer inquiry for the transaction, its more eficient and cost effective to have them do it.

Same for all travel agents.

Priceline
i had to do a review on that site for uni
its quite weird really...for flights originating from states
its a normal online bookin service cept when it gives u a price, at the bottom right theres a link to "make your own offer"
you can actually offer them what you want to pay
dont know if any1 else have come across it before

flight centre = dodgy f***s, they're sposed to guarentee fairs the same price as purchasing them online, my sister went in to buy them then couldn't remember the flight number so I searched for it based on arrival time, turns out they charged her an extra $70 for a return trip to canberra.
