SIX Bulldogs rugby league players will not be charged over allegations they gang raped a woman at a Coffs Harbour resort.


There is insufficient evidence to charge any players.


NSW police investigating the alleged sexual assault of the woman on February 22 today announced they would not lay charges against any players.

all the evidence points to innocent - and actually Kat in Australia we have this thing called 'innocent until proven guilty'.

I bet if the Bulldog players were rich and black the cops could have found enough evidence.

trust kat to provoke a self-induced flaming but on the skynews australia channel the DPP - director of public prosucutions said that they had insufficent forensic or circumstantial evidence for the charges to be laid.

in other words, not only can she not prove what she accuses them off.

Kat, I would not be surprised at either party being guilty, but people love to make themselves the centre of attention - chicks especially. They THRIVE on people looking at them or being drama queens. You ever been to pubs/clubs when 'stars' are partying? I have a few times and the chicks have no shame in what they do and how they fawn all over the bloody 'stars' when quite clearly said people are not interested in their tarty behaviour.

It would not surprise me at all if they made allegations up to either make themselves the centre of attention or use it as some perverse form of revenge for being rejected.

Well considering some of the evidence which was found to be insufficiant included DNA samples... I'd say that it does = innocent

Nah it was probably just the fact that finding semen from a bulldog's player isn't particularly uncommon.

hehee..... from my understandning a witness (her friend) saw her at the motel pool with a group of other guys... after that she went to the bulldogs room, got rejected, went back down to the pool and screamed rape!

El Masri had nothing to do with the inquiry and police stressed that he wasn't a suspect - he found it demeaning to give a DNA sample and be involved in the inquiry and said no. I think he did it to protect his reputation but it may have had the reverse effect.
