woah.. slowest ausgamers download ever for me through this network... i normally get speeds of 300-600k but am only getting about 25-30k atm... i might try getting it through that other link and see if it's any better.

yeah, oddly enough when i downloaded about 15-20% the thing just speed up to the point where i had the file in about 10 seconds.

damn i miss cable, adsl just isn't the same getting like 55k/s

nah, ive got dsl at home aswell and get the same kind of speed as you, im at work at the moment and we hook directly into bandwidth providers like sprint so it's pretty damn fast.

Try the GA link; we've got a new system on there at the moment which is offering non-BigPond members much faster downloads (until more people realise it and the queue starts kicking in)

Man im so looking forward to this one. I've been meaning to hire it out on xbox for a while but just never had the time.

Oh by the way anyone played CMR 3 ? what a load of crap that was.. only 2 modes: Championship and single stage, and the only car you could pick was the Ford Focus since you were playin the "flyin scotsman" himself. Still had lots of cardboard cut out spectators and trees and what not.

I heard they fixed it and added to it a beauty for CMR4 so im eager to get it =)

the game looks damn nice
the menus are clunky and ghey

plus the clipping on your car is ultima ghey at times
and the car just doesnt feel right, i dunno. rallisport 2 is gunna s*** all over this im afraid.

rallisport 2 is gunna s*** all over this im afraid.

Im no driving game guru but I do agree with you, I only gave the orginal Rallisport a go the other week trying it out on the new vid card and man was that awesome or what. This demo just doesnt seem to give me the same feel or near the same immersiveness as that. Is rallisport 2 coming to PC? I thought I read that it was an Xbox only title at this stage?

I reaaaaaaaaally dislike finland :P My Best is like 2:15 or something, i cant stand the first half of it. USA is ok, but the signs on the side of the road s*** me. You slam into one and the car stops dead. Japan rocks. I love driving by those rice fields cause you can cain so fast, but 1 slip up and you go flying in :P

I reeeeeeally hate japan :P can't do it worth beans :( the other two I don't mind though

How the hell did you get 3:14?? bloody hell, i'm struggling to get below 3:20 on Japan lol

I posted my time using the code you get in the high scores area and im ranked 93 for the Japanese Track 2. I'm the 2nd highest Aussie and one of the lowest times using that car. Theres only like 4 others in the same car with a lower time (the lowest in the car i used in the demo is 3 min flat.) No idea how he got 14 secs off. I can see myself improving maybe 2 - 3 seconds but getting another 10 or so i have no idea.

That said i'm like 34 seconds or something off #1 time. But I suppose with the full version you have access to better cars so thats no surprise.
