Im hoping they do a whole package box set with all of the extended versions together, that would be nice =D

When i say the title I was thinking the same thing.

I already own the first two extended cuts in the 4 CD sets.Next year the LOTR phenomenon will still be affecting me while I wait for the next box set :D.

i will go crazy next year.. i will be expecting another LOTK movie at the end of 2004.

the extended version of the 2nd was awesome, so now im gonna go buy the first one and wait til the third comes out too :)

and jigga - the $300 was in reply to the all three movies extended box set - not just the return of the king, ttt only costs about $60, so rotk will prolly be about $80 when it comes out initially

I just bought the extended editions for both "Fellowship" and "Two Towers" (with the statues) and they set me back $130 each....well worth it i recon!!

i have the 5 disc of fellowship, but i didn't see the point of getting the 5 disc of TTT, so i only got the 4 disc, and it was $60, not $120 :P

thats because the 5 disc set comes with a disc about gollum and a gollum statue.
