if your a forum moderator does that mean you have access to the admin area? If not can the forums creator add more people to have admin access?

Also, if ive gone to "add forum" and im a moderator for a forum, how come i cannot edit its appearance? It only gives me the 3 OLD ones which i have previously registered not the NEW one

No. But whoever created the forum can give other people access to the mountpoint, which will allow you to.

there's only one forum worth being an admin of and that's this one :p

I'm an admin of this forum and I stopped looking at it because it was too much work! :)

You'll need to actually put "because..." with a reason if you actually want your comment to be taken seriously!

edit needs a grace period, eg 1 min after post you don't get it automaticaly appended.

possibly a limit on the number of edits? or access to the edit page..

yeah, that's one thing I liked about this place, no edited by line to get in the way, although I suppose if your posts are always being edited by sneaky admins, at least now you'll know who does it. (unless they are equally as sneaky and hax the database directly if that's even possible)

edit: I mostly edit to add content in reply to a post that wasn't there when I replied, or to fix spelling & stuff.

I don't have a sig anymore coz I'm an asshat, but I think this edited by thing will make a great replacement sig :p

wow, they...ah...if it says "last edited" it should really only have the "last edit" displayed. and when weird stuff happens in threads due to editing, that is funny, not bad...and i was gunna link a funny one, but it seems it was deleted. perhaps for that very reason. :-?
