Ahoy

I just bought one of these cameras from moo, highly recommended. Seemed a few people asked for sample so I thought why not show my s*** paint work :)

Here are some progress photos of my 72 Superbeetle before and after

This was when I first got the car, just a rolling shell no engine s***house electrics interior crud.

After my poor paint work the car now looks like this, gotta removed some of the poor masking mistakes on the window :)

So yeah Needs an engine + some rewiring and the interior fixed and hopefully it will be on the road again

How much was the camera worth? I haven't got a digi-cam yet so if it's cheap I would be interested. Doesn't have to be S-Marts top of the line range, as long as it looks clear.

Hehe, I know I do.

I have a few things to buy for New Years so if Moo still has them in a couple of weeks I will get one.

If I didn't think the VW Beetle was the ugliest car ever to grace the planets surface, I'd be wowed.

Still, well done, if that's your bag.

You're not sorry, or else you wouldn't have done it in the first place.

about $250 for the entire job, I did it with spray cans. I had a gun and compressor but it was shooting like fairy floss, depends on the paint ice, if its nice and smooth it should be ok, but if its chipped and peeling, bare metal :0

Very dodgy. U will never get a good finish with can no way. i take pride in keepin my car clean and tidy and thus i had the car repsrayed by a professinal i new had roof / bonet / b00t repainted for 500 flat. Im pickin up an Rx4 Coupe soon as well and know its going to coast me about 3000 - 5000 for a total respay inside and out if i wont one. Quality cost money. Why do all that work on car then pain with spray cans.
