From the look of this and this Asus look set to bring a range of Radeon vid cards to the masses. This was rumoured to be happening some time before Computex. I dont know if they are dropping Nvidia altogether at this stage, maybe not. Another piece of innuendo being thrown arround is that another big name card maker is considering drifting over to the ATI based product.
And over at Hercules this pic is teasing people with the flash intro on the main site, telling people to 'get a lot of sleep because thanks to Hercules there are going to be some very long nights' in store for gamers. Some punters are saying its a dual fan Raedon XT...others are even speculating its an XGI (dual GPU) Hercules made card. I just wish it was HL2 under that sheet. :) |

Asus have featured ATI video in their laptops for quite some time now...
which begs the question... is the next "gaming lappy" going to be an Asus? /me think so :) |

I'd bet that Hercules surprise *is* actually HalfLife2. Their "will keep games up at night" line is a pretty fair indicator of that.
I dunno whether to grab one of the 9800XTs when they come out (just for halflife2 ;) or whether to wait for the next gen ones early next year. Choices, choices... |
