i think this era will be defined by 2 music types;

1) crap popular music
2) awesome 'alternative' to popular music

such a shame that there is so much good music out there yet it never gets played on any form that the mainstream is likely to hear.

In 100 years time we refer the 60's to the 2060, if we refer to 60's music(currently) we would probably refer to them as 1960's I guess. Just like when we say 1860's now to refer to 60's before our century.
