ive been googling like crazy trying to find a decent summary of prepaid options from virgin, vodaphone, optus and telstra communic8 but can find nothing.

is there anything around like whirlpool.com.au, but for mobiles?

dunno, but if you're looking at vodafone, there is now a 20c flagfall on all calls.

lucky me though, i have no flagfall till i spend the $120 credit i put on it before the cutoff date :D

i know i used to have optus prepaid. best thing about them scooby was it was free for 20 mins to call another optus prepaid or the other plan was any phone for 15 c for 10 mins

apparently vodafone are gunna be the first to drop their call rates a s***load

i had optus pre paid ages ago.. it was f***ing s***. You could only call free to other prepaid people and the lines were AAAALWAYS f***ing busy!! Im so happy my phone got stolen, got plan ?

get telstra cos everything else is s***, oh and get a plan cos on pre-paid you get screwed no matter where you go

I have pre=paid with telstra and it is about 45c for 30 seconds and about 25 for flagfall...

Now that is s***!

I use Optus prepaid, and $30 of credit lasted me 6 months :)

I go through Virgin pre-paid and I got the $100 one nearly a year ago and still have $19 left on it with about 50 days to use the remaining credit. But I only use my moby for emergencies or quick calls to mates.

heh i'm pretty much the same as, i've used like 60 dollars worth off calls for like 12 months now, thats why i'm still using a 3210. Ofcourse i'd love an upgrade. also optus prepaid is shiiit @ night time, but hey c'mon free calls what more could you want?

doesnt crazy rons offer a free xbox or ps2 when u sign up on a plan? or do u have to buy a phone with their plan as well?

I don't use too much credit either. I have friends who go through $80+ a month. I go through $10 a month? Difference is, they use their mobs for ltos of pointless calls. It adds up.

Also 1c a second on vodafone kicks ass. Well if you were smart and recharged before the 28th.

skitza i've never had a problem in the last 4 months or more.. i used to get the lines busy thing all the time and it was really f***ing annoying.. but they must have expanded now..
