he is a stupid gimmicky popstar for goths.
idiotic makeup-wearing, anorexic clown who sacrifices puppies live on stage for the cheap shock factor and to detract from his s***HAUS 'music'.
He's makes out like he is so f***ing badass...shirley temple could snap his spine. the f***ing worm.

now come on a while back say in around february i think, someone said that we should let people know about concerts that are coming up. So im doing exactly that, i am informing people that there is a concert on, i think manson is a dick to but im sure that there is probably someone out there that likes him and will be greatful for this knowledge.

I was going to be attending this concert, but since this is only 2 days after the soilwork concert, I will not be attending. It would be good to see him live, he's always had a good atmosphere when he is playing live.


So me proof of this so called puppies incident..if you can't then it won't be real..i aint judging just asking.


I also prefer to spend my money on soilwork, more up close and personal with the band, a much better vibe.

and to all metal heads, skinlab have taken a break. So they won't be coming back this yeah, the break is indeffinate at this stage, but they'll be back and will kick major ass, if you saw them at qut, what did you think?

thats true, manson is a really good performer and is mainly why im going to go his show cause i saw them play at the BDO and it was great. I like a fair bit of his music but the live performances are generally worth seeing even if you don't like his music at all but at $80 i wouldn't suggest going if your not a fan. i don't know why so many ppl bag him for wearing makeup, i couldn't care less... a lot of bands do it... mudvayne, cradle of filth, tool (well only maynard) to name a few.

I only know 2 of his songs and I reckon he's pretty good. His concerts would go off though, the whole vibe in the air thing would rock hard.

But in saying that, I shant be attenting his concert seeing as I have no idea about his music.

went to BDO when manson was on, went past where they were playing - dont like the content of the music, but the sounds they pull are awesome. and from a 'stage show' performance, he's quite talented - him or whoever puts the show together, blows alot of others bands out of the way

each to his or her own i guess, its not for me.

i hear ya german, $82 is a damn good price, its basically the going rate at the moment, and i gaurentee it will be a top notch production, always has been a 'showman' with a great production crew.

people just love to hate him, cause they cant handle the 'shock' factor, meh to them.

Not entirely true. You are paying that much becuase he is that big of a star.

Audioslave only cost $56

AC/DC was around $100..you are paying for how big they are.

When i saw manson at big day out, i thought he was awesome live. Well it was the best duo at bdo korn and manson.

not quite, AC/DC had the biggest X-Array hang ever rigged in australia, and insane amounts of backline & lighting, all this costs alot of money! audioslave had a much more standard production.

And u get what u pay for. The audioslave concert was pretty ordinary. The band is great don't get me wrong. But the concert wasn't very inspiring. maybe cuz it was the last one or something.

The first few songs he was terribly out of tune. I think they must have had the fold back speakers turned down too much or something.

Eclipsor - I dont know i thought that it asnt that bad, the guitar solo's by Morello were awesome and Chris' voice wasnt that bad i thought it was pretty damn good in some songs

yeah the guitar solos were the highlight. But for the first 3 or 4 songs, Chris was noticably out of tune. And there was definitely a point where they must have realised the problem and rectified it. Because he cam all in tune. It wasn't bad. Just didn't think it was that great.

What are some other good concerts ppl have been to? I'd have to say my favourite would be pearl jam. I've been to the last 2 now and the atmosphere in the croud at the one in jan this year was just amazing. Tool was pretty good aswell.

i agree it wasnt that great but i will say for only having one album it was good and i cant wait till they release some more albums and come back again. Now that will be a good show if their music gets better or stays at its current level

yeah good point. I had been wondering how they would pad out a concerts worth of songs from one album.

but I doubt any of us would pay 80 to see a freaky dude in a dress. I'd pay 80 to listen to his music live and to see the show that he puts on.

Eclipsor: Audioslave basically played their entire album, and also covered some songs, I believe they covered a romanes song, that they did for the ramones tribute album.

Chris had about 1-2 songs where his voice couldnt' do the higher notes, which is completely fine. The guy has one of the best voices today. Morello is a god. He did not miss a note, this shows how talented the guy is. When he plays live he sounds like he does on the cd. This is also goes with chris.
