Hey guys, i have a problem im playing a vcd through my computer onto a tv screen using my ti 4200, but the video itself aint showing up...the outline does, and windows does aswell but the movie doesnt. lil help?

have u set the tv as the primary monitor thats how itll show up on it

Just wait until you run across a dvd that has the feature of not playing specifically when tv-out is enabled, it actually said 'cannot play while tv-out is enabled' on my computer (where it's *only* hooked up to the tv) :)

just full screen it and set it to clone.
when u get the 'cannot play while full screen is enabled"
or change your video drivers

if you go to the overlay settings you can set it so that video plays on a tv while your monitor is still primary

I got that stupid error can't play when tv out is enabled when I only had a monitor and no TV and tv out was disabled

use a program called TVTOOL for TVOUT. Its great. Contact me on messenger @ excruciating@optushome.com.au if you want it.

dont know if it helps but the program i use to play all dvd vcd divx on my tv is Power DVD i had the same problem and it fixed it for me.
