I am old enghouf to rember the orignal tv series of the hulk.

I has seen the shorts of this new movie and while it looks pretty, the action that the hulk does IE climb on planes that are flying in the sky and leaping huge distances and the like, i feel that it has sold out..

I realy loved watching the old shows and still rember that he did not do alot of that type of thing.

He didnt do it on the TV show cos the TV show sucked. In the comics he was able to do that kind of stuff.

Also, hulk, in the comic, grows and shrinks in proportion into how pissed off he is. He does this in the movie also.

i saw it and i thought the special effects were of something that a 10 year old would get excited over. I thought Xmen 2 was auright but The Hulk disappointed me just like Spiderman did.

I just got back from seeing it, overall I really enjoyed it, it was pretty cool. It was a bit too long and dragged on in parts (ie, no Hulk smashing things, boring) and it took aaaaaages to set everything up and get going, but once it did it was great. Has some really great scenes in it, and personally I reckon the fx were awesome, they gave a real comic book feel to it but still looked really cool.

The ending was really dumb though, that dropped it a few notches for me, but overall a pretty good movie.

That was the most boring movie I have seen a long time. It is the only time I can remember wishing I had a book to read and a light to read it by in a cinema, and the only time I can remember nearly falling asleep in a movie.

And I'm not just referring to the parts where Bruce was just Bruce and not the Hulk, I'm referring to the whole thing.

OMG, this movie was aweful! 2 & 1/2 hours of utter crap with the brief exception of about 20 mins worth of good CGI.

The chick wasn't even that hot! DareDevil sucked but at least the chick was hot!

Hulk was possibly worse the such comic book conversions as The Shadow and The Phantom.

Whoa what a POS. I mean I wasn't expecting much but I was still disappointed.
Best performance was from the hulk's super-epastic-pants.

I found the movie s***. Phantom, Batman (the first one), Darkman, Daredevil and Xmen series are far better comic book to movie translations.

The story was slow. (Hell opening credits went for what felt like 10mins)
The hulk didn't smash enough stuff.
The acting apart from Eric and Jennifer was poor and over done.
The hulk didn't smash enough stuff.
The whole emoitional lets make this a chick movie too thing didn't need 60% of the movie.
The hulk didn't smash enough stuff.
The hulk looked a little to friendly/humourous.
The hulk didn't smash enough stuff.
The ending was particularly lame.
The hulk didn't smash enough stuff.
The whole dad fight as the big puddle and the gamma bomb thing was lame.
The hulk didn't smash enough stuff.
The story was linear in the extreme.
The hulk didn't smash enough stuff.
and finally
The hulk didn't smash enough stuff.

Wait for dvd if ya ask me.

I can see that most people will dislike the movie. I enjoyed the dramatic tension put into effect by a director such as Ang Lee. Any other less inspired director, and the mvoie would have been the usual fluff.

It had a problem with transitions, major problems. Other than that it was a 'ok' movie, not fantastic but I didn't feel jipped.

Haven't seen it yet, but I really don't like the look of the computer graphics, just looks so fake. IMO, I prefer the much greater use of costumes such as in the LOTR movies - the creatures look so much better.

The first thing I said after seeing it was: "That was disjointed".

I concur, it was an exceedingly average movie. It wanted to do two different things and they just didn't gel right.

I just saw Bruce Almighty. I mean I actually just walked outta the cinema then. I'm typing this on my laptop as I walk.

Pretty funny movie although it started to go sucky near the end with too much happy feely stuff going on. Jennifer Anniston was a complete honey bunny in the movie though.
